Nutrition is far more important than most think.
First of all, we are not certified nutritionists or dietitians here at VFT, but our information comes from years of experience and awareness of countless success stories.
When it comes to nutrition, its important to regulate what you eat, how often you eat and how much you eat when you do and that still doesn’t cover everything.
There are three macro nutrients we all MUST consume which are proteins, carbohydrates and fats. The problem is that carbs and fats are often each lumped into a single category of something we think is bad for us. I blame this on all the misinformation over the past couple of decades. This has left people confused and misguided about how important nutrition really is.
The fact is that we need all three for very different reasons. Without them, we start to handicap a very complex and in my opinion, miraculous process we have in our bodies. Our bodies want to be at its potential and its our habits and bad information that gets in its way constantly. For those of us that have lived in a culture surrounded by junk food, meat ‘n tators and other overly processed foods, its hard for us to make a huge change. So be patient with yourself, know that persistence is the key, and that when your body starts feeling better because of those changes you are going to make, you will start craving the new foods you introduced yourself to.
